Migration registration – notice of arrival.
In order to execute migration registration for a foreign citizen (notice of arrival) please fill out the Application for execution of migration registration of a foreign citizen.
We provide assistance in the migration registration of foreign citizens and their Host party (a legal entity): we fill out the Notice of arrival, submit it to UFMS (Directorate of the Federal Migration Service) for the city of St. Petersburg and Leningrad region, or send it through the post office and then return the detachable part of the notice to a foreign citizen, which constitutes a confirmation of migration registration. We also assist in the migration registration of foreign citizens arriving in the Russian Federation by our invitations.
Migration registration of a foreign citizen is a mandatory procedure. According to item 2 of Article 22 of the Federal Law dated 18.07.2006 No.109-ФЗ Migration registration (registration) shall be implemented not later than 7 days from the moment of crossing the border, upon each entry into the Russian Federation, regardless of the number of days of stay in the Russian Federation.
The absence of migration registration in the database of FMS shall entail refusal to grant a visa or another invitation to the Russian Federation. Penalties for violation of migration registration are established by Article 18.9 of the Administrative Offences Code of the Russian Federation for the Host party and Article 18.8 of the same Code for foreign citizens for violation of regime of stay in the Russian Federation.
For citizens of several countries other terms are established, during which they shall implement migration registration (execute temporary registration):
- For citizens of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan – 30 days;
- For citizens of Tajikistan – 15 days.
Being the host country may:
- A citizen of the Russian Federation, permanently registered in the city of St. Petersburg or Leningrad region;
- A foreign citizen permanently residing on the territory of the Russian Federation;
- A legal entity.
Term of execution – 2 business days or more.
Documents for migration registration
In order to execute migration registration of foreign citizens in the Russian Federation it is necessary to submit the documents of a foreign citizen and the Host party.
For foreign citizens arriving in the Russian Federation by invitations of our company only the “List of documents of a foreign citizen” is required.
All documents shall be sealed and signed by the chief executive of the organization.
